Cluster or not
Hi Dimas,
You mention cluster, and this can be a confusing term. There is a product called MySQL Cluster, which is not the same as MySQL. MySQL Cluster is a shared-nothing architecture for highly scalable databases used mainly by telcos and other large organisations who need that level of transaction support. For most uses, MySQL and/or MariaDB can be set up as highly available, with failover nodes - which is what many people understand as "clustering". At SkySQL we have a number of options for businesses wanting to get the best resilience and performance from their MySQL or MariaDB servers. We also support MySQL Cluster as well. Check out the SkySQL Enterprise Data Suite for more information.
